ADI Part 3

This course comprises 40 hours one-to-one coaching where we further develop your driving skills and instructional ability to the very high standard required in order to succeed at this very demanding test.

The ADI Part 3 Instructional Ability Test assesses your ability to teach a real pupil whilst being observed by a senior examiner. The test lasts for approximately 45 minutes. Assessment of your teaching falls under three headings – lesson planning, risk management, and teaching and learning strategies. A pass is achieved with a minimum overall score of 31 (out of 51) and at least 8 out of 15 on the risk management section.

Having struggled with my training and thinking that I had absolutely no chance of passing my Part 3 I was lucky enough to meet Emily. All of a sudden everything started to make sense and I passed to become an ADI. I genuinely don’t think I would have had a chance without Emily’s training and for that I will be forever appreciative.
